Re: Steering judder and ABS on

Hello Mumstaxi Your guy is almost certainly right about a warped disc if the juddering only appears when you apply the brakes, as for the ABS, first port of call would be the wheel sensors if you cannot find anybody with the correct code reader, there will be a diagnostic port under the bonnet below...

Re: Electrical Fault

Hi all I don't know if this helps but I am on my second Granvia, they both came with the wrong battery as recommended so assume that the majority are sold likewise, both came with lower amperage and amp hour batteries which are ok in warmer climes or our summer and even mild winters but to get peace...

Re: Granvia: noise seemingly from floor between front seats?

Hi Legacoid This noise could be the prop shaft centre bearing but that is located further back around the second row of seats, below the front seats you are looking at g/box or transfer box if 4wd. Re: Timing control Valve

Hi All Started car up about 4 weeks ago and it was knocking its head off for about ten seconds, drove to work in it but the engine management light came on and it went into limp mode, my diagnostic code reader would not communicate with the car so I had to do some old fashioned diagnostics, the knoc...

Re: Electrical Fault

Hi Alfearnley
My central locking does the same when I lock it with the key but if I lock it with the switch on the inside of the drivers door and hold the outside door handle in the open position when I close the door all is ok.

Re: ECU pinout diagram

Thanks Paul
But I am afraid that is not the same layout as my ECU, mine has 4 plugs and 3 rows of pins as apposed to 3 plugs and 2 rows in the manual.
