Re: ECU pinout diagram

OK, I have a Max Ellery manual for the Toyota Prado which covers the 1kz-te engine and includes the 4 loom connector ecu pin out info. Possibly the same as the Granvia and Regius.
If you can PM me with your email address I can send you a copy (two pages).

Regards,
Paul.

Re: Knocking front suspension *fix* & Gearbox Lock-Up

Yes I would be very interested in purchasing one of your lockup kits if you go ahead and start producing them. I was thinking of buying one from Richards Auto Electrical in Australia which is a fully automatic one and programmable to lockup and unlock at the speed you want, but not sure whether it w...

Re: Knocking front suspension *fix* & Gearbox Lock-Up

Hi Pdjm43, I am very interested in your torque converter lockup circuit, I’m not an electronic engineer but have built many projects from circuit diagrams. Would it be possible for you to supply a schematic with parts list. I’m sure others on the forum would also be interested in building such a use...

Re: roof rack

The roof bars I fitted to my Regius are Whispbars available from “The roof box company”. They come in three different lengths 120cm, 135cm and 150cm, the fitting kit is K332 for the “Through Bar” not sure of the part number for the “Flush Bar”. I used the 135cm “Through Bar” part number S17W you wou...

Re: Engine Management System?

There is a free download of the 1KZ-TE engine repair manual here http://www.toyota-granvia.co.uk/download/file.php?id=310
Look under section DI-3 to DI-63 page 95 to page 155 this will give you all the info on engine diagnostics.

Re: Rear fog light modification

I have now completed the wiring for the rear fog lamp mod as suggested by josh2109 on this forum dated 23/11/15. I fitted a single 5 amp Schottky diode type SR504 between the wire that feeds the brake light bulb filament on each outer lamp, (cathode end of the diode nearest the bulb filament that's ...

Re: timer control circuit fault

Can you tell me exactly where this resistor is as I may be able to test the one on my vehicle and send you the value. If it's a surface mount type on a circuit board then probably not as I wouldn't want to remove it for testing, it is always best to remove a resistor to check it's value accurately. ...
