Re: N/s door lock cylinder retainer

Are you talking about the front passenger door or the sliding side door?

Re: A smashing time! (reposted)

I agree about the "soft-tops" but this plastic looks like industrial strength cling film stuck over where the glass should be. Trouble is I take the Granvia to the "pickiest" testing station I know of (a Toyota main dealer) and I am sure they would pick up on it.

Re: A smashing time! (reposted)

It was Carglass here in France who mentioned the screen fitting. They had been using the local Toyota dealer to search for the relevant part numbers and were apparently given that information by the dealer. So, I'm hoping that the correct glass appears in 2 months time and it doesn't take much longe...

Re: A smashing time! (reposted)

I had a call from Autoglass France (Carglass) to apologise for the delay but their purchasing department has been told that the screen has been ordered from Japan and that there will be a 2 month wait for the screen. The order for the screen was place through Toyota France. Carglass made the comment...

Re: 1995 3.0D 7 seat Granvia for sale

An update.

Having now arrange to have the rear screen replace (see posting in General Chit Chat) I will not be selling my Granvia until after the rear screen has been replaced, unless by then I decide to keep it after all. You can get very attached to a Granvia.

Re: A smashing time! (reposted)

Just a quick update. I'm now feeling a bit of an idiot because I forgot about the glass cover on my Granvia insurance. Having call the insurance company (AXA) I was told the breakage was covered by the policy and they would send my details to Autoglass France who would be responsible for obtaining a...

A smashing time! (reposted)

I meant thus post to be in this section but by mistake posted it in the wrong section - so I've reposted it here. While cutting some grass at the house the other day the mower managed to find a stone and with outstanding accuracy project it towards the barn, where the door was open and in the openin...

1995 3.0D 7 seat Granvia for sale

I am selling my 1995 7 seater 3.0 diesel that has a little over 120,000 Kms on the clock (verifiable) in excellent condition. It has been regularly serviced and well cared for. The interior is "as new" but it has one or two supermarket scars on the exterior. The bad points are- The fuel ga...

Replacement screen for rear door

I have just had the misfortune to have the rear door screen broken. Looking on the parts listing sites it appears that the glass for my 1995 model is no longer available. Has anyone else had to have this screen replaced. Just toi add to the problem I am in France!

Re: Is fitting full exhaust to 3.0TD a straighforward DIY job??

When I bough a back box from a Toyota dealer it cost me just under £140 - a bit of a discrepancy or else the Pound is worth a lot less now than it was then.
