Re: AC Fluid help!

Welcome to the forum!

On my '95 diesel Granvia, there's a bright yellow label in the engine compartment (just above the brake fluid reservoir) which says the refrigerant is "R134a".

Re: granvia dimensions for camper convert planning

Ian, welcome to the forum! Where did you get your assumed internal dimensions? My Granvia has a maximum internal height (from carpet to roof lining) of 1320mm and it's less at the ends; internal floor width is only 1500mm between the internal plastic panels. Do your dimensions relate to a stripped-o...

Re: Quick (?) servicing questions...

Sorry, I should have added a warning when changing the air filter: the sensors for the incoming air which ultimately allow the ECU to deliver the correct amount of fuel to the engine have a reputation for fagility. Take great care when handling all the wiring attached to the air hoses and housings a...

Re: Quick (?) servicing questions...

Do I need to clamp off the fuel lines when changing fuel filter? I can't give a definite answer on that - I can't remember! If the feed line from the fuel tank is not clamped, then the fuel in the line may drain back into the tank so that the engine will have to be cranked until the fuel pump can r...

Yup, if you look under the vehicle from the side it's all too easy to assume that big dr...

Re: catastrophic failure - not quite as bad as feared!

When the system crashed, we lost the last twelve months of postings to the forum (May 2016-April 2917) and all the new members - apologies! However, the Internet Archive made a snapshot of the forum on the 2nd October 2016 and it's available on their 'way-back' facility at: https://web.archive.org/w...

Re: roof rack

Did you find the postings on roof racks for the Granvia on this forum? There are several discussions here: www.toyota-granvia.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=139 www.toyota-granvia.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1101 www.toyota-granvia.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=826 Unfortunately, in the system cras...
