I have had a V6 for 7 years. No probvlem getting all the normal service items. A good local independent garage should have no problem servicing it. The engine was used in the Landcruiser, Camry and 4Runner. Mine has LPG conversion and combined yearly service, LPG service and MOT was £320. I have also done the basic service myself as the service items are all very accessable. Hope that helps.

Like V6vanman said 5vz-fe engine is very well known, 2wd version suspension is based on Hiace Powervan
If something is different is easy accessible from local Toyota dealer.
When I had to replace bushes, which were different to ordinary powervan,
my local dealer got it for me in about 2 days.

Nice one, thanks for your advice, I asked the local garage we use and he's happy to work on it so that's all good , it's a V6 petrol 4WD Auto so probably going to be a guzzler compared to my current Corsa 1.3 cdti !
But the Corsa was bought for commuting 20k + miles a year and it did that extremely well, the Granvia is all about pleasure so I hope it performs that just as admirably :-)
Again, thanks for the help, it's much appreciated and hopefully be letting you know we've had a purchase over next few weeks !?
